A strategic opportunity
Hudisa’s participation in ANUGA 2025 represents a key strategic opportunity to strengthen the company’s international presence, establish new business contacts, identify consumer trends, and showcase its commitment to sustainable innovation.
Joaquín Malagón, CEO of Hudisa, highlighted the importance of attending a trade fair such as ANUGA in the current international market context:
‘Being present at ANUGA is much more than a commercial activity: it is a statement of principles. In an increasingly globalised and competitive world, we have to be where decisions are made, where trends are born, and where the main players in the sector meet. ANUGA is undoubtedly that place.’
Malagón also stressed that attending this trade fair allows Hudisa to consolidate its role as a trusted supplier of high-quality purées and concentrates that meet the highest standards of food safety, sustainability, and traceability.
Innovation, sustainability, and proximity to farmers
Hudisa stands out in the market for its integrated business model, based on direct collaboration with agricultural cooperatives and a firm commitment to the circular economy and sustainability. Through cutting-edge processing technology and the implementation of energy efficiency systems, the company manages to minimise the environmental impact of its activity without compromising the quality of its products.
According to Malagón, its CEO, ‘we want to position ourselves not only as processors of raw materials, but also as innovation partners for our customers. The market trend is clear: consumers are increasingly looking for healthy, functional products with a transparent origin. At Hudisa, we are ready to offer exactly that and guarantee supply with the highest standards of quality and food safety’.
Since 2002, Hudisa has been processing and marketing strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry purées and purée concentrates in Lepe, as well as IQF blueberries sourced from the province of Huelva, Europe’s largest producer of berries. It works with three different product lines: Conventional, Baby food, and Organic.
