Lepe, 27 November 2023.

David Toscano, president of Huelva’s Provincial Council, has been in charge of presenting Antonio Tirado Gómez, Hudisa’s president, with the Alimental Transformation Award 2023, an award that recognises the excellence of a company from the province of Huelva. These awards are in response to “highlighting the work of people and companies in the sector who have done a committed and immeasurable job for the future of their activity and its development in Huelva”, according to the organisation.

The presentation took place at the first great forum of the agri-food sector in the province of Huelva, a project promoted by the Caja Rural del Sur Foundation, in which the yearbook was presented, which integrates all the agri-food sectors in the province of Huelva. It is the first ALIMENTAL Yearbook of Huelva Agri-Food, a project promoted by the Caja Rural del Sur Foundation that will be a platform to reinforce the excellence of all the products that the province of Huelva puts into the markets thanks to agricultural, livestock, and fishing activity.

“For us, this new recognition is a new boost to the work we are doing to reach the levels of excellence that we have set ourselves,” said Antonio Tirado, president (chairman) of Hudisa.

The Alimental 2023 award is in addition to the PYME Huelva award, also obtained in 2023. Moreover, Hudisa has placed itself at the top of the food and fruit processing industry by obtaining the maximum qualification in two of the most demanding quality and food safety audit tests, AA+ in BRC Food & Higher Level in IFS Food.
